FAMILY FUNCTION ( MARRIAGE ) - 19 Feb, 2021

 

नमस्ते दोस्तो,

शुभसवार   

आज में सुबह ७:३० बजने के बावजूद भी सो रही थी। क्यूंकि आज मुझे  घरकाम का कोई चिन्ता नहीं थी। मेरी मम्मीने भी मुझे सोने दिया। ७:४५ को मेरी नन्द का फ़ोन आया। उनको ब्युटी पार्लर में जाना था। लेकिन उसको मालूम नहीं था। यहाँ ब्यूटी पार्लर कहा है। फिर मेने एड्रेस बताया। उनका फ़ोन आया तो मेरी नींद भी उड गई। और आज मुझे अपने सास-ससुर के साथ शादिमें जाना था। इसलिए मेंने जल्दी ड्रेस-उप किया और तैयार हो गई। 

९ बजे नास्ता किया। उसके बाद हम शादी में गए। हम शादी क मंडप में ११:०० बजे पहुंच गए थे लेकिन बारात अभी तक पहुंची नही। फिर हम लोग साथ में बैठे।

 

तब दूर से बरात में दूल्हे और उनके दोस्तों और परिवार के लोगों के साथ आती हुई नजर आई। दूल्हे की बहनने किसी भी बुरी किस्मत या "बुरी नजर" को रखने के लिए दूल्हे के सिर पर सिक्कों की एक थैली लहराई। फिर बारात घोड़े पर दूल्हे के साथ रवाना होती हुई और साथ में पार्टी नृत्य करती हुई और दुल्हन के घर आ पहुंची। दुल्हन की माँ दूल्हे की आरती की और उसके माथे पर टीका लगाया। 

अब गुजराती शादी की एक अनोखी रस्म होती है। जब दूल्हा दुल्हन की मां के पैर छूता है, वह उसे आयोजन स्थल के अंदर खींचने के लिए उसकी नाक को पकड़ने की कोशिश की और वह इससे बचने की कोशिश करता है। यह रसम बिना कहे चला जाता है कि यह एक मज़ेदार उद्देश्य के लिए किया गया है।

उसके बाद जयमाला की रसम शुरू होती है। दूल्हे - दुल्हन एक-दूजे के गलेमे फूल की माला पहनाते है। जयमाला के बाद, दुल्हन दूल्हे का स्वागत फुलोसे करती हुई मंडप तक ले जाती है। 

जहा मधुपर्क की रसम होती है। इस रसम में दुल्हन के माता-पिता दूल्हे के पेर को पंचामृत से धोते है। 

मधुपर्क रसम के बाद अब दुल्हन अपने मामा और भाई की अगुवाई में मंडप में पहुंचती है और दूल्हे और दुल्हन के बीच एक अपारदर्शी कपड़ा रखा जाता है, जैसे पर्दे पर गुजराती शादी के मंत्रों का जाप किया जाता है। 

उसको आन्तरपट कहते है। उसके बाद कन्यादान होता है। यह रस्म दुल्हन के पिता द्वारा अपने दामाद पर भरोसा रखने का प्रतीक है। अब से, उनकी बेटी की खुशी के लिए उनके दामाद जिम्मेदार हैं। उसके बाद हस्तमिलाप और फेरे की रसम पूर्ण होती है। 

फिर हम दोपहर का खाने खाने के बाद मेरे पप्पा के घर आराम करने आ गए। उसके बाद में और मेरी सास मेरी ननद को मिलने गए। मेंरे ननद के दो प्यारे बच्चे है। एक लड़का ६ सलका है और दूसरा लड़का सिर्फ ५ महीने का है।

मेने उनको अपने गोद लेके खेला। उसके बाद फिर मरी ननद की सास की तबियत के बारे में पूछा मेरे नन्दोई घर पे नहीं थे वह अपने काम से ऑफिस गए थे। हम बिदाई की रसम तक नहीं रुके क्यूंकि हमे ४ बजे वापस अहमदाबाद आने के लिए निकल गए। हम ८ बजे घर पहुंच गए। आज में ट्रेवल करके थक गई थी। मुझे खाने की इच्छा नही थी इसलिए में फ्रेश होके दूध पीके सो गई।

Good morning

Today, in the morning it was 7:30 even sleeping. Because today I was not worried about homework. My mother also let me sleep. I received a phone call from sister in laws at 6:45 AM. He was supposed to go to the beauty parlor. But he did not know. Here is where the beauty parlor is called. Then I told the address. When I received his call, I also fell asleep. And today I was to go to in wedding with my mother-in-law. So I quickly dressed up and got ready.

Have breakfast at 4 o'clock. After that we went to the wedding. We reached the wedding pavilion at 11:00 pm but the procession had not arrived yet. Then we sat together. 

Then there was a visit from the distance to Barat with the groom and his friends and family members. The groom's sister waved a bag of coins over the groom's head to keep any bad luck or "evil eye". The procession then left with the groom on horseback, with the party dancing and arriving at the bride's house.

The bride's mother performed the aarti of the groom and applied the vaccine on her forehead. Now Gujarati wedding is a unique ceremony. When the groom touches the bride's mother's feet, he tries to grab her nose to drag her inside the venue and he tries to avoid it. This ritual goes without saying that it is done for a fun purpose. 

After that Jayamala's ritual begins. Groom - Brides wear flower garlands around each other's neck. After Jayamala, the bride takes the bridegroom to the pavilion in full bloom. Where the ritual of Madhuparka occurs. In this ritual, the bride's parents wash the groom's par with panchamrit.

After the Madhuparka rasam, the bride now arrives in the pavilion led by her maternal uncle and brother and an opaque cloth is placed between the bride and groom, as the Gujarati wedding chants are chanted on the screen. It is called aantarpat.

It is followed by Kanyadaan. This ceremony is a symbol of the bride's father's trust in his son-in-law. From now on, his son-in-law is responsible for his daughter's happiness, followed by the rituals of handcuffs and ferus.

Then after lunch we came to rest at my father's house. We did not stop till the farewell ceremony as we left at 6 am to come back to Ahmedabad. We reached home at 4 o'clock. Today, I was tired of traveling. I did not want to eat, so I went to sleep drinking fresh milk.
